Bakrie University (BU) was founded and managed by Yayayasan Pendidikan Bakrie (YPB). Since its established in 2006, BU has granted scholarships to 428 students coming literally from 33 provinces in Indonesia.
More than 70% of current students are Scholarship recipients. The Scholarship program has been designed to achieving goals of Bakrie University establishment, one of which is to make the University as a leading community. Most of the students joining the university are the scholarship-recipients. Hence, we expect them to produce research results that are recognized in both national and regional level within the next 15 years. Backing up with updated curricula in all programs offered, and with faculty who are mostly expert in entrepreneurship capacity building, Bakrie University is poised to deliver competitive graduates that are not only ready for being professionals but also ready for becoming new breed of entrepreneurs.
Bakrie University Campus is located in GOR Sumantri Brodjonegoro GF 22. Jl. HR Rasuna Said Kav C-22, Kuningan South Jakarta. It is now having two Srata 1 (S-1) programs: the Management and the Accounting. Coming soon, we will open three new program in 2010.
